No, it’s not Mickey Rourke in the house.
It’s Daniel Puder. He is back in action, and the former pro wrestler is ready to ground and pound. Puder returns to mixed martial arts this coming Saturday when he battles heavyweight Jeff Ford in “Call to Arms 1”.
Their match in the Clean Kill-sponsored event is among the many spectacular bouts scheduled for Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, California. The thrilling main event features Vladimir “The Janitor” Matyushenko dueling Jason “The Punisher” Lambert.
Although Puder has spent much time outside of the sport building his business, Fight 5, he’s now focused on the cage.
“I am absolutely thrilled and pumped to be here, I can’t even put it into words,” says Puder, adding that he is more than ready for the challenge after many months between bouts. “I can’t wait for May 16th. I can’t even sleep, it’s already like the night before Christmas for me. I’ve been working my butt off and I feel really strong and confident putting my undefeated record up against a fighter like Jeff Ford.”
Other matches on the PPV event include these MMA fights:
• Brian Warren vs. Tiki Ghosn
• George Karakhanyan vs. Albert Rios
• Joe Camacho vs. Karen Darabedyan
